Recently, our company demonstrated its strong supply chain coordination capabilities and customer-centric service philosophy by successfully solving a critical component challenge for a long-term U.S. customer specializing in flange procurement. The collaboration not only reinforced the trust between both parties but also highlighted our advantages in connecting high-quality domestic manufacturers with global clients.
The U.S. customer, who has maintained a stable procurement relationship with our company for years, encountered a recurring issue during their recent engineering project: the 304 stainless steel hexagon socket bolts they had been using suffered frequent damage, which posed risks to project progress and safety. After evaluating alternative materials, the customer decided to switch to titanium bolts—known for their excellent corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and durability in demanding environments. Aware that our company is geographically close to Baoji, China’s renowned "Titanium City" and a hub for high-quality titanium product manufacturing, the customer proactively requested our assistance in investigating and identifying a reliable local titanium bolt supplier.
Upon receiving the customer’s request, our team immediately launched a comprehensive research and on-site inspection process. We screened multiple titanium manufacturers in Baoji based on strict criteria, including production capacity, quality control systems, technical certifications, and industry reputation. After in-depth communication with potential suppliers and on-site visits to assess their production facilities and process standards, we selected a leading local factory that fully met the customer’s requirements. We then shared detailed information about the factory—including its certification credentials, production capabilities, and quality assurance measures—with the U.S. customer, who gave formal approval to proceed with the collaboration.
To ensure the titanium bolts perfectly matched the customer’s specific application environment, our technical team held in-depth discussions with the Baoji factory. Considering factors such as the project’s operating temperature, corrosion exposure, and mechanical load requirements, we jointly determined to use Ti5 titanium alloy as the base material for the bolts—a choice that balances performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Prior to mass production, we arranged for the factory to produce three prototype samples, which were promptly sent to the U.S. customer via international express for inspection and testing.
After receiving confirmation that the samples fully complied with their technical specifications and quality standards, we coordinated with the Baoji factory to initiate mass production immediately. Leveraging efficient communication and strict production scheduling, the factory completed the order on schedule, and the finished titanium bolts were delivered to the customer in a timely manner—successfully resolving their component damage issue and supporting the smooth progress of their engineering project.
